Melissa Rowling
Melissa is a Director and one of the founding partners of Greentarget, specialising in corporate and business to business communications for companies in the financial services sector. She has built-up an unrivalled knowledge of the financial technology sector, with a deep understanding of areas such as clearing and settlement, pre/post trade operations and financial regulation such as MiFID.
Melissa provides strategic advice to Greentarget’s media relations clients such as RBC, BT Financial Services and Omgeo, while also advising them on wider marketing communications issues. She has been successfully advising clients on media strategy for more than fifteen years using a combination of her technical financial services expertise and excellent contacts within the national and financial trade press.
Prior to Greentarget, Melissa headed up the Financial Services Practice of Weber Shandwick. During her five years there, Melissa managed a number of client accounts, including Dresdner Kleinwort, FXAll, Black Rock, FTSE Group, NYSE Euronext, Trafalgar Capital, Instinet, SVG Capital and Integrated Asset Management. Before this, between 1999 and 2001, Melissa ran marketing and PR for two hedge fund firms, IKOS Asset Management and Yetman Asset Management.
Melissa began her PR career at Square Mile Communications in 1995, after she had completed the Unilever Graduate Scheme.
