About Us

In 2006, some ‘big agency’ communicators decided that there must be a better way to help financial services firms reach and engage their audiences. GT was founded on the principles of intellectual rigour, sound advice, high integrity, high creativity and flawless execution for all clients. 

As Greentarget’s client list grew, so did its reputation among highly regulated companies. By successfully navigating its clients through the tumultuous ‘credit crunch’ of 2007 and subsequent financial crisis, GT established itself as a leading corporate PR agency for Financial Services. 

Following this, Professional Services firms approached GT for reputation management and positioning, and the team grew as we expanded into this complimentary sector. 

In 2011, GT attracted new investors which allowed us to continue to grow our team and adding new skills in digital communications to enable us to evolve with the changing world of communications. 

In 2019, GT was acquired by the Selbey Anderson Group, a marketing and communications group. This further broadened our offering to clients, with access to an even wider range of communication skills and industry expertise. 

In 2024, our sister agency Unity was incorporated into GT, bringing a wider Corporate business strand; B2B/B2C brands seeking communications positioning, messaging and profile-raising campaigns with serious business audiences. 

In 2025, Greentarget launched a brand refresh, emphasising the ‘GT’ name; how its clients had long affectionately referred to the agency.

Part of this refresh saw the introduction of GT Sage alongside the Financial Services and Professional Services business strands, serving those B2B/B2C Corporate brands.

Further, GT also launched a new suite of standalone Digital and Social Media services for existing and new clients, enhancing the agency’s integrated communications offering. 

In 2026, two decades after the agency was founded, GT took its next significant step when we joined Infinite — an international communications and reputation management firm – bringing our expertise into a fully integrated, transatlantic platform. The combination gives our clients access to coordinated, cross-border support across the US, UK, and Europe, backed by a team of more than 120 consultants spanning London, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, and Washington D.C. For our people, it opens new opportunities at genuine international scale. For our clients, it means the same senior-led counsel they have always relied on, with greater reach and deeper resource behind it.
