Greentarget deepens integrated PR offering with appointment of Anna Lawlor as Head of Digital and Social
Appointment of Anna Lawlor to the newly created role completes transition to full-service comms agency.
London – Greentarget today announces the appointment of Anna Lawlor as a Director and Head of Digital and Social Media.
Anna joins as a seasoned integrated communications professional with a long-standing relationship with GT | Greentarget, during her role as co-founder of award-winning digital communications agency, Luminescence, which she co-managed for over 12 years.
In this newly created role, Anna will further develop GT social media, content and digital marketing proposition.
Enhancing GT’s commitment to expand its client’s expectations of what social media and digital tools can do for their business, Anna leads on developing a new suite of digital PR services to launch in early 2025.
She will also deepen the social media and digital marketing skillset of Greentarget’s staff across all levels of the agency, as GT further embeds integrated/multi-channel PR skills across its business.

Anna’s background is in financial journalism.
She has written for the majority of UK broadsheets, with staff positions at The Sunday Times and The Financial Times – where she was an investment editor during the financial crisis – as well as at influential B2B magazines.
She was Commissioning Editor for The Guardian‘s On Social Media series, and editorial director of the FT‘s impact investing report.
More recently, her BBC Radio 4 statistics documentary Typical! was commended by the Royal Statistical Society. It was also a finalist in the Data Journalism of the Year category at the Wincott Foundation Journalism Awards.
Anna holds a BSc in International Relations, and Executive Education from The Møller Institute, University of Cambridge. In her spare time, she chairs live events at Book and Ideas Festivals around the country.
Anna Lawlor’s appointment follows the integration of sister agency Unity into Greentarget in April 2024, which saw the agency strengthen digital, design and internal communications capabilities for clients, add a technology offer and increase headcount. Both firms are part of the Selbey Anderson Group, which comprises eight marketing and communications brands.
